Believe it or not, there are loads of foods that make shifting fat impossible. Here are seven naughty foods you need to cut out of your diet if you want to lose weight fast.
#1 Coffee
Caffeine is awful for your body. Sure, there have been some studies that suggest that coffee speeds up your metabolism, but at what cost? When you drink coffee every day, it means that your body struggles to process it. In the long run, you could end up having problems with your heart and your digestion. If you can do without a cup of coffee each morning, you should do so.
#2 Pasta
Pasta is easy to cook and delicious, and so you might think that it is the perfect meal. Wrong. Pasta is all carbs. Unless you plan on running a marathon after dinner, there is no need for you to eat a heavy meal like this one. Eating too much pasta will make you gain weight that is impossible to shift. Your body turns carbs into fat when you don’t exercise. Pasta also makes you feel lethargic, and so will stop you exercising when you need to.
#3 Juice
Everybody knows that you need to get all the vitamins you can. Drinking fruit juice every day, though, is not the way to go about getting your daily amount. In fact, most processed juices have loads of sugar and additives in them. That means that you end up drinking a high-calorie beverage on a regular basis. There are many supplements you can get to give you vitamins and help you lose fat. You should try taking those, rather than filling up on sugary drinks.
#4 Wine
As you may already know, any alcohol is pretty bad for you and your health. Wine is likely the worst thing you can drink when you are trying to lose weight. The problem with this drink is that, while it is tasty, it is full of calories and toxins. When you drink wine, your body loses water, and so you end up with headaches and stomach pain. It also helps you to store fat, which means you will get big quickly.
#5 Ready meals
Sometimes, you might not have time to cook. When you need food fast, you might pop a ready meal into the microwave. Many meals claim that they are low in calories and that they will help you shed those extra pounds. In fact, when companies process meals, they take all the nutrients out of them. That means that you end up eating something that is terrible for your health.
#6 Bread
You should not cut out bread altogether. Doing so would be ridiculous. You should change what type of bread you eat, though if you want to be slim. Eating white bread is always going to be an issue for your body. Instead, stick to natural granary rolls so that you don’t put on too much weight when you eat it.
#7 Salad dressing
What can be healthier than a salad? Nothing. Well, unless you decide to cover your meal with salad dressing that is. Many dressings have loads of hydrogenated fat and sugar in them. That means that they make your salad an unhealthy meal the moment you use them. You should make a salad dressing for yourself at home so that you know what is in it.
If you are serious about getting slim and healthy, you need to change everything you eat. That means that you have to go without some of the things you love. When you have done so, though, you will have a gorgeous figure!
